Cylindrical drum; dohol
Dohol, cylindrical double membrane drum with beater. One head of the drum is donkey skin, the other goat skin. The wooden shell is formed of a single length of wood reinforced at the joint. The skin heads are tensioned over hoops and nailed to the wooden shell. The string lacing is in a V shape pattern. There is a leather carrying strap.
