Duct flute; walking stick flute
Fluier bita (b?t?), shepherd's walking stick flute, duct flute. A cylindrical, slightly curved pipe of unstained maple, stopped at the distal end. The flute is held vertically. The block is flush with the top of the pipe, and the mouth or window is at the back. Six finger holes are burnt out in two groups of three on the upper part of the front face. One vent hole is carved obliquely at the back below the level of the finger holes.
