Conical drum
Single membrane conical drum. A section of a hollowed log of (balsa?) wood forms the shell, with untreated outer surface. Peccary skin head, with remnants of hair, secured by a double hoop. The skin is lapped over the concealed lower hoop is secured beneath the upper hoop. Vegetable fibre lacings form a V-shaped pattern, running between the double hoop and a cane hoop near the open end of the drum.
