Oboe
Oboe. Nominal pitch: C. Boxwood with brass keywork and three ivory ferrules. Three joints. The upper joint has a baluster profile. Three keys, two of which are duplicate E-flat keys positioned symmetrically at either side of the C key. The keys have flat square flaps, and are mounted in rings that are square in profile. There are twin holes for the lowest finger of the upper joint (F/Fsharp). Two vent holes, one at each side of the bell joint. Stamped with the name: F. LEHNER; the monogram: F.L.; and the number: 2.
