Dancing master's kit, small fiddle with four strings. The body is of dark brown wood and of viol outline. Both the two-piece back and the one-piece table have double purfling. The back and the table both overlap the ribs. The fingerboard, tailpiece, pegs and endpin are all of ebony. Possibly English.
