Anglo-German system concertina. Flat, bevelled rosewood ends, 6.63in/168mm across parallel sides. Fully fretted. 35 buttons: 15 + 2 drones + 2 sound effects left-hand; 15 + 1 air (absent) right-hand; flat nickel-bushed. Round-end broad steel reeds, air valve flap and sound effect squeakers mounted on pans. Five-fold green leather bellows, fully gold stamped with gold star papers. Later leather straps with brass screws. Maker's pencil mark inside: Bound and Papered Thursday; Label absent. Serial number 8022.
