Spike fiddle
Jap fiddle, spike fiddle. The diamond-shaped box resonator is of wood with f-shaped two soundholes on the table. The fingerboard has sixteen frets. The single wire string is looped around a nail at the base of the body. Pillar-shaped wooden bridge with four feet. Stamped '3606' on the back of the neck. A metal label on the side of the neck is stamped 'KEITH PROWSE & CO. LTD./'... (illegible) 'ALL OVER LONDON'.
