Bell
Clapper bell, made from a shaped sheet of iron which is bent in half and beaten into shape giving a conical body made of two curved and flared halves with gaps in between, and joined at the top. The handle, of twisted leather, is looped around the top of the bell. The clapper, a hooked iron rod, is suspended from a length of metal twisted into a ring around the top of the bell.
