Kena; notched flute
Kena, notched flute of bamboo. The top rim has U-shaped notch with a chamfered lower edge. The six circular finger holes are of uneven size and there is one thumb hole. The rim at the distal end of the flute has a chamfered outer edge. There are two nylon bands wrapped round the instrument near the top and bottom, each with parallel bands of yellow, green and red, the colours of the flag of Bolivia. The instrument is pitched in G.
