Melodeon, diatonic button accordion. 11x6in/279x152mm black wood ends with blue pallet board, secured by steel wing bolts. 10 steel-tipped wood buttons and 2 wood stops on right end, 2 spoon basses (one absent) and one spoon air valve on left end. 11-fold bellows. Metal edged, in embossed mock-crocodile paper. Folds alternate in thickness: 3 thin, 1 thick. Right-hand leather loop strap, left-hand strap absent. Silver embossed blue painted pallet board label: 'Progress Accordeon, made in Saxony'. No serial number.
