Anglo-German system concertina. Flat thick stained mahogany ends, 6.63in/168mm across parallel sides, with bevelled edges and fully fretted with white leather backing. 31 broad bone buttons: 15 each side + 1 air, bushed; air valve is on a rod acting on a sprung trapdoor on pan. Round-end broad steel reeds. Five-fold green leather bellows with gold flowered paper. Black leather straps with brass screws. Oval paper label: G Jones, patent concertina manufacturer, 350 Commercial Rd, East; Serial number: 10450.
