English-system concertina. Flat rosewood ends, 6.5in/165mm across parallel sides, bevelled and with fancy fretwork. 48 nickel buttons: 24 each side, silver capped naturals, bushed. Round-end broad steel reeds. Five-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers. Later straps with nickel screws. Right-hand pan stamped: G Jones, London; Serial number 3295.
