Darabukka
Darabukka, toy goblet-shaped drum. Wheel-thrown unglazed earthenware shell. Funnel-shaped bowl, the shell tapering beneath to a narrow stem with a flared foot. Hide membrane glued to the upper rim. The membrane decorated with wide red painted lines, two of which cross the centre at right angles, the others forming a four-pointed star with each of the points meeting the rim between the arms of the cross.
