Tenor cornett
Tenor cornett, 19th-century reproduction. Double-curved conical-bore wooden body of octagonal section bound in black leather. Six open tone holes and one key-covered hole. The key has a round flat flap, a bascule joint and a swallow-tail double touch. Dog-tooth ornamentation at upper end of body and three sets of ornamental triple grooves further down.
