Harmonieflûte, lap organ. 18.38x6.5in/469x165mm plain black wood ends with straight sides. Light wood wind chest section fretworked front and rear, with two sprung brass securing buttons. Left-hand end has a black wood hand bar with four brass feet, and two areas of perforated air valves. 37 small piano keys: 22 bone 'white notes' and 15 ebony 'black notes', plus bone button controlling dampers stopping off a musette set of reeds. Brass-tongued reeds on double or treble brass reed beds. Four-fold black leather bellows with black papers. Oval impressed stamp on front action cover: Busson Brevete Paris; No serial number.
