Cuatro; guitar

Cuatro, small guitar, with four single courses of strings. The body is waisted, the table of light brown wood (possibly spruce) in two sections joined at the centre. The ribs are two pieces of medium brown wood, joined at the base.The head, fingerboard and top part of the table are veneered with geometrical shapes in marquetry. The oblong pegs, of white plastic, are mounted onto machine heads. Wooden nut, fourteen metal frets. The straight wooden tie bridge has similar ornamentation to the fingerboard.
