Concertina
Anglo-German system concertina. Thick, flat rosewood ends, 6.63in/168mm across parallel sides, with bevelled edges and fully fretted. 31 broad, bone buttons: 15 each side + 1 air, bushed. Air button on rod which acts on hinged trapdoor on pan. Round-end broad steel reeds. Five-fold black leather bellows with gold star papers. Later leather straps with brass screws. Label absent. Serial number: 12989.
