Concertina
English-system concertina. Flat grained rosewood ends, 6.12in/155mm across parallel sides; simple frets with pine backing. 48 buttons: 24 each side, stamped with name at top. Right hand black buttons are of wood (top 3 possibly plastic), all others elephant ivory. Round-end nickel reeds. Four-fold green leather bellows, with gold star papers. Later leather straps, screws and washers. Oval paper label: 'Rock Chidley, Manufacturer, 135 High Holborn, London'. Serial number 2932.
