Trough zither
Trough zither. Two flat wooden bridges are set into each end of the wooden trough. Seven holes are bored at either end of the trough for strings that are comprised of a single continuous length of string. Four slots are cut out of the wood at the centre of the trough, possibly for the attachment of a gourd resonator.
