English-system concertina. Flat mahogany ends, 6.25in/159mm across parallel sides, with simple fretwork. 48 buttons: 24 each side, ivory with black accidentals, stamped. Round-end nickel reeds. Four-fold black leather bellows with damaged gold star papers. Left-hand black leather strap, right-hand strap and metal absent, nickel screws. Oval paper label: 'R Addison & Co, 210 Regent St, London'. Serial number 2461.
