Melodeon, diatonic button accordion. Rectangular black stained wood ends, 11x6.5in/279x165mm, with metal binding. Right-hand: 2 rows (10 + 9) plastic buttons. Left-hand: 4 spoon basses, 1 spoon air valve. Brass reeds on large beds. 11-fold bellows: 4 thin, 3 thick, all metal edged: flowered papers. Right-hand thumb strap, left-hand hand strap. Metal corners are labelled: 'The Squirrel Accordion Trade Mark Registered, made in Saxony'. Bellows stamped: 'Chromatic Accordion'. Right-hand end embossed: 'Steel Bronze Reeds'. No serial number.
