Melodeon, diatonic button accordion. Black wood ends, 11x6.25in/279x159mm; silver embossed pallet board. Right-hand: 10 metal-tipped wood buttons, exposed metal pallets. Left-hand: 2 spoon basses, one spoon air valve. Brass reeds. 13-fold bellows, central fold thicker; metal corners, gold star papers. Right-hand leather thumb strap, left-hand fabric hand strap. Bellows stamped: 'National Band Accordion, unexcelled in quality, model de luxe, made in Saxony', plus two trumpeter trademarks. Metal bellows corners stamped: 'The National Band, trademark registered, made in Saxony'. No serial number.
