Chromatic button accordion. Rosewood veneer ends, 10x6in/254x152mm, purfled and inlayed. Right-hand: two rows of chamfered square bone keys and pallets (10+9), with exposed pallets. Left-hand: 4 pearl-tipped bass buttons plus wooden bass lever. Left-hand end has 4 domed brass feet. 16-fold bellows, red leather cloth edged. Later fabric thumb and hand straps. Inset glazed panel covering fancy coloured and gilded label: 'Premiata Fabrica di Armoniche, comm. Paolo Soprani and [? E] Figli, Castelfidardo, Ancona, Italia, Chromatic'. No serial number.
