Accordeon. Rosewood veneer ends, 9.56x3.44in/243x87mm, with simple purfling. Right-hand has 8 square pearl-clad wood keys, with brass levers and round pearl pallets, two pearl drone/bass pallets controlled by linked brass lever on hand bar. Left-hand single brass spoon air key in white hand frame. Simple brass reed beds and single riveted brass tongues; single 3-tongued drone chord reed plate. 4-fold leather-edged bellows with brown on white papers. Stamp in rosewood side: 'Keith, Prowse & Co, 48 Cheapside, London'. Reed pan labelled in ink with serial number: '71'.
