Accordeon. Rosewood veneer ends, 12.88x5in/327x127mm, with floral marquetry and light purfling. Right-hand has 19 square pearl keys (10 outer row, 9 inner row), two brass palm levers (cage absent), and 21 pearl pallets. Left-hand has a fancy brass spoon air valve, two articulated brass bass valves, and four brass feet on handframe. Brass reed beds and brass single rivet tongues. 6-fold green leather-edged bellows with gaudy papers. Rectangular green paper label on pan: 'W Winrow and Son, Accordian Makers, Hollow Stone, Nottingham', and a similar oval ink stamp under action and on pan, also owner's address in pencil: 'JW Allison, 7 Kirk View Barnard Castle'. Oval stamp on right-hand: 'Busson, Brevete, Paris'. No serial number.
