Chromatic accordion. Rosewood veneered ends, 13x7.5in/330x191mm, with all edges inlaid with Tunbridge-ware strips and metal corners. The ends are secured to the bellows frame by external clasps. Right-hand: 44 pearl-tipped buttons on wooden rods, in four rows: 10, 11, 12, 11. There is a thick carved fretted rosewood pallet cover, and the keyboard is stepped. Left-hand: 48 pearl-tipped bass buttons, in four rows, on a raised and stepped keyboard. Double leather shoulder straps on brackets, plus left-hand hand strap. Large label, inlaid in pearl and white composition: 'Ditta/TOMATI & COMP/Diano Marina (Italia)'. No serial number.
