Transverse flute
Transverse flute. Nominal pitch: C. White metal body. Three joints. The top part of the body joint surrounded by two embossed ridges to give the impression of a barrel joint. Boehm key system. Model number YFL67E. Keys padded with yellow felt. Cork and white felt pads under some touches. Fine tuning mechanism with metal-faced stopper attached by a screw to the end cap, which has a ring of raised circles around the rim to form a grip. Raised lip plate. Head joint has the Yamaha tuning fork logo. Inscription at back of head joint below end cap: SSILVER/CY; Barrel section has inscription: YAMAHA/ESTABLISHED IN 1887/JAPAN/67. Serial number 2060.
