Concertina
Anglo-German system concertina. Double-ended, allowing the instrument to be inverted, the alternate set of buttons playing in a different key. Flat rosewood ends in irregular pentagonal shape, 5.88x9.44in/149x240, with nickel edge binding; square fret hole under hand bar with metal grille backing. Numbers 1-10 stamped adjacent to each set of buttons. 40 brass-tipped wood buttons glued to levers, in four groups of 10; one air valve, rod is absent. Reeds riveted to single reed plates. 9-fold leather cloth bellows with thick central fold and blue flowered papers. No straps. No label or serial number.
