Accordeon. Polished walnut ends, 13.63x3.88in/346x100mm, with purfled hand bar, concealed pallets and sculpted sides. Right-hand has 24 square pearl keys (12 on each row). Left-hand has large nickel spoon air valve, two articulated bass levers, four nickel feet on hand frame. Brass beds and tongues, on raised double-sided reed banks. 5-fold leather-edged bellows with blue and gold papers. Inset gilt medallion on left-hand, embossed: 'Exposition Universelle Medaille Unique d'Honneur 1855'. No serial number.
