Accordeon. Veneer rosewood ends, 12.88x4.88in/327x124mm, with coloured marquetry and purfling. Right-hand has 19 square pearl keys: 10 on outer row, 9 on inner row, and two brass pearl leavers, one with a cage; 21 pearl pallets. Left-hand has a large decorative spoon bass with brass guide loop, two linked bass levers on hand frame. Brass reeds, beds and tongues. 6-fold bellows with gaudy papers. Gold on black transfer on action boards: 'J Gregory, Maker, Nottingham'. Oval ink stamp under action and on reed pan leather: 'J Gregory, Maker, 27 Lister Gate, Nottingham’. No serial number.
