Concertina
Anglo-German system two-row concertina. Flat rosewood veneered ends, 6.44in/164mm across parallel sides, with 3 areas of simple frets. 23 bone-tipped wood buttons, glued to levers: 10 + 1 register lever on each side + 1 air. Reeds riveted to single reed plates. Register levers bring into play a further set of reeds to give a double-reeded sound. 8-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers, with gilt embossed band around frames. Left-hand frame is deeper than right-hand. Later leather straps with two bellows securing straps. No label or serial number.
