Concertina. Flat, round rosewood veneer ends, 5.56in/141mm diameter, with fretwork area under hand bar. 21 bone-tipped wood buttons, glued on to wooden levers: 10 each side + 1 air. Nickel reed tongues riveted onto zinc reed plates on octagonal pan/action boards. 6-fold octagonal green bellows with gold star papers. Brown leather straps on arched hand bars, with brass screws. Stamp on end: 'Registered no. 2865'. No serial number.
