Melodeon. Rosewood veneer ends, 11.25x6.25in/286x159mm, with curved metal corners, plentiful Tunbridge-ware inlays, and fretted pallet cover. Right-hand: two rows of pearl-tipped wooden levers (11 outer, 10 inner) with curved, fretted and inlaid pallet cover. Left-hand: 8 pearl-tipped bass keys in 2 rows, plus wooden air lever. Left-hand panel has four brass feet. 16-fold bellows, metal corners, leather cloth edged. Later leather straps. Inset glazed panel covers a fancy coloured and gilded label: 'Premiata Fabbrica di Armoniche, Cesare Pancotti di Antonio, Macerata, Marche-Italia'. No serial number.
