Melodeon, diatonic button accordion. Light pine and oak ends, 9x4.5in/228x114mm; pallet cover with metal-edged sound holes. Right-hand: 10 metal-tipped wooden buttons (2 absent). Left-hand: 2 buttons present. 7-fold bellows, with thick central fold; Metal edges and corners, gold on red papers. Right-hand strap absent, left-hand strap of later fabric. Embossed plaque pallet-cover: 'Especially made for M Warner & Son, Northampton’. No serial number.
