Changsha Huangnikeng Zheng (Duo with cloud pattern)
Preserved in good condition. The body of the bell is of black brown colour. The underside (wu) is flat and the two xian points are straight. The body is long, thick and heavy. It has an elliptic cylindrical handle (yong) with a raised collar. The mouth (yu) is deeply curved. The two xian points are shaped like tongues. The handle is decorated with cloud patterns. The underside has a plain design. The lower section of the body is decorated with snake patterns. The middle section of the body is decorated with triangle patterns, which are filled with clouds of varying size. This music instrument is rarely seen in Chu culture.
