Qin with Inscriptions by Mr Chen Weibin

The sound retainers are raised slightly. The top surface of the qin is made of paulownia wood, while the bottom surface of the qin is made of ovate catalpa wood. The cap corner (guanjue), bridge (yueshan) and dew-receptor (chenglu) are all made of redwood. The goose feet are made of redwood. There are no tuning pegs. The inlays are made of mother-of-pearl. The qin has no cracks (duanwen) and is painted with grey coating and black lacquer.
