Violin bow

This violin bow was possibly made by John Fisher Maghie of Dalston, Cumberland, the same maker who almost certainly made the related violin (1972.63.1). The stick of the bow is made of wood and the frog possibly of ivory (?). The hair of the bow were usually made of horsehair, therefore the hair of this bow could be possibly made of the same material.
