Melodeon

This Victorian melodeon is a kind of small accordion with suction operated reeds. This melodeon is made of mahogany inlaid with lighter coloured wood. It has mother-of-pearl keys. It is stored in it original wooden case. The outside of the case is covered with dark brown paper and the inside is lined with white paper printed with blue spots. The case has a lock and a handle.
