Kit of reduced violin outline, the back and shallow ‘ribs’ carved from one piece. Front very highly arched, of medium to wide grain; f-shaped soundholes and single purfling; very depressed carving at soundholes. Front does not overlap ‘ribs’. Back of maple, of slight curl, highly arched with single purfling. Golden varnish; boxwood pegs.
