Trumpet

A natural trumpet of brass throughout; the bell garland copiously decorated with a floral design and on the upper edge a line of scallop shells; a wooden block stay between the mouth and bell pipes bound with uncoloured fabric; a boss at one-third length from the bell ornamented with a pair of cherub faces in cast brass: the mouthpiece appropriate, the cup slightly conical: the associated banner bearing the royal arms of England of 19th century date and after 1837.
