Method of hair tightening: simple screw mechanism, no ferrule. Stick: made of snake wood, varnished and in burgundy colour; round cross section; no grip. Head: facing: plain; plug protrudes from the surface and enables the hair to be lifted; pike type head. Frog: made of ivory; rectangular plane with a simple c-shape undercut; rear corner perpendicular; screw cap made of ivory and tapered towards the middle with round cross section; slide made of iron; eyelet/nut of brass.
