Drum, double-headed
Double-headed drum, Chinese. Red lacquer rim. Heads decorated with polychrome dragon and bird and fastened with iron nails. Suspension rings. Used by James Blades in the original performance (9th June 1966) of 'The Burning Fiery Furnace' by Benjamin Britten.
