Valiha (musical instrument) and cover; made of bamboo; a) tube of bamboo, with holes carved at either end, strip of woven fibre textile stapled on (with metal staples) below holes, then section of bamboo strings pried up from surface of bamboo and propped up with small bridges made of gourd tied on with red fibre; b) rectangular mat cover plaited of vegetable fibre.
