Stringed musical instrument with red-painted gourd (calabash) resonator covered in skin; red-painted cane neck passing through resonator. One hole pierced through neck for peg (missing). Parchment (or paper?) embossed with floral design wrapped around neck in three places; also around top of gourd where skin is attached to it. Flower motif (pachment or paper) to centre top of skin and base of resonator.
