bell

Amulet (omamori) made of a piece of printed card, mounted within a case made of bright pink card and card covered with brocaded silk with green, white and purple flowers on a red and gold patterned background. On the front card, in between the sides of the case are printed the name of the place and temple, Matsushima and Entsu-in, the temple's stamp, and the function of the amulet (for success in studies, for good health and safe travel). Around the middle of the amulet is a gold cord, tied in a simple knot at the front. The amulet is kept in a plastic pouch to which a red and gold cord is attached, on which hangs also a silver bell.
