Amulet (omamori) in the form of a miniature wooden votive plaque (ema) sealed in a clear plastic pouch and attached to a ring on which also hang a bell, a red and white silk cord (connected to a plastic succion pad) and a large silk tassel with a yellow upper section, from which descend a pair of multi-coloured strands twisted around the centre and a large tassel on each strand, red and white. The plaque is decorated on one side with the image of Monju, represented by a flame, riding a mythical lion and on the back with information on the function of the amulet (for safe travel, health, prosperity and safety of the family).
