clappers
Wood clappers, two-piece, long smoothly carved torpedo shaped, tapering towards flat connecting sections at the proximal end by a cotton reel shaped handle, bound with split root or withe. Top section carved in low relief with a two dimensional design of a crest, probably a fish and perhaps sculpin, identified by the line of spines down the back. Underside is engraved with four lines accross the clapper.
