Rattle made of long, slender gourd with small seeds ? inside. Surface of gourd is decorated with alternating vertical bands: wide brown-coloured bands and narrow natural-coloured scraped bands; the latter form a cross at base of gourd. Leather cap sewn tightly to top of gourd with fibre thread. Leather suspension cord, now broken, was attached to top of cap.
