rattle

Rattle made of gourd with loose cotton string covering. Numerous cowrie shells, arranged in vertical rows, form the rattles. Blue glass beads, single or pairs, threaded on to cotton thread above cowrie shells. Additional red, blue and green tubular glass beads decorate one side of rattle.
