Stringed musical instrument (lute-fiddle group) with two turned-wood keys but no strings attached. Two male figures and a bird carved within rectangular enclosure at very top of instrument, all painted with red, green and yellow. Circular hollow section at other end of instrument, just above sound-box which is covered in stretched, cream-coloured leather and attached to wood with flat-headed metal nails. Small strip of metal attached diagonally to neck.
